Bengie Molina

34-year-old Bengie Molina has been in the zone the whole series. Parra made an excellent pitch and Molina adjusted his feet and hit it off the wall (where Corey Hart learned something: the SF walls have spots that deaden the ball's bounce). Molina has never had an OPS+ above 108, so this must be a fluke ... unless, during the off-season, he made a career-changing adjustment in his swing. It will be interesting to see how his April goes, before the inevitable regression to the mean.

The fact that he got clobbered on an excellent pitch seemed to unhinge Parra, who looked bad the rest of the inning.

Speaking of the SF outfield walls: has there ever been a veteran outfielder more expert in his own park than Randy Winn? Well, yeah, but Winn is still pretty amazing out there in the right field funhouse.
